Teething Relief 101
At The Dental Anesthesia Center we are often asked what parents can do to relieve their child’s discomfort during teething. Sore gums are bound to result from erupting teeth between 6 months and 3 years of age and the discomfort often lasts a few days at a time. Dr. Michael Hoffmann suggests offering a cool, clean teeth ring, chilled spoon or toothbrush to your child. You can also rub a clean finger or cool, wet washcloth on the sore gums to relieve your child’s discomfort. You are not alone. If you are concerned about your child’s teething, please call The Dental Anesthesia Center in St Louis, (888) 905-5844. Read more about children's dentist: |
Don't Forget to Floss! Clean between teeth daily with floss or an interdental cleaner. Decay-causing bacteria can hide between teeth where toothbrush bristles can't reach! Flossing helps remove plaque and food particles from between teeth and under the gum line. Visit Our Office Regularly! ADVICE TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS: The majority of dental disease is painless in its early stages. Early detection is key! We Look Forward to Meeting You ! |
